Get things signed without the print, sign, scan dance
Printing a contract so a customer can sign it, scan it, and email it back is one of those jobs that feels normal until you count how long it actually takes.
Where it hurts
A quote gets accepted, a job needs a sign-off, or a new client has to agree terms. So you attach a PDF and ask them to print, sign and send it back. Half of them don't have a printer. The other half forget. You end up chasing the signature harder than you chased the sale.
When it does come back it's a photo taken at an angle, half in shadow, saved somewhere on your phone you'll never find again. If you ever need to prove they agreed, good luck.
Meanwhile the job can't start, or you start it on trust and hope the paperwork catches up.
What I'd build
I'd set you up with proper e-signing, usually through a tool that ties into what you already use (many accounts and CRM packages have it built in, or a standalone service like DocuSign). You send a link, they tap to sign on their phone, and both sides get a dated, tamper-evident copy filed automatically. I'll set the templates up so the fields they need to complete are already marked, and route the signed copy straight into the right folder or your accounts system.
