The first review is free. After that we work in fixed-price milestones: you define the work, I give you a timescale and one price, and that price is what you pay. No day rates, no meter running.

You define the work, I scope it and quote one figure. That's the number, no surprises. Most milestones land between £650 and £3,000. Most pay for themselves within weeks.
Optional. One hour of my time each month, yours to point at anything: on-call help when something's odd, or upkeep of what I've built. A fresh hour arrives each month rather than stacking into a pot, which is what keeps the price small. If something needs more than the hour, we agree it first, like everything else, and the rate eases as the plan grows. Cancel any time.
Prices shown in pounds (£), based on where you're visiting from. The figures are simple round prices, not live exchange rates, so what you see is what you pay. Lodesa isn't VAT registered, so there's no VAT on top; the price shown is the price.
What the numbers actually buy
Every job is scoped and priced before it starts; these are the shapes the three price points usually take. £650 is the floor: the smallest job I'll take on, and it buys a finished fix, not a consultation.
Around £650
One bounded fix, built, tested and handed over. Think invoices chased automatically from your accounts package, or bookings that confirm and remind themselves.
Around £1,500
A multi-step automation across two or three tools you already use. Think enquiries read, sorted and drafted by AI, with a small dashboard showing what's waiting and with whom.
Around £3,000
A bigger build joining several systems, documented, with your team shown how to run it. Think orders flowing into accounts and stock, and the monthly numbers assembling themselves with an AI note on top.
Why fixed price?
Because an open-ended hourly bill is exactly the thing small businesses dread, and rightly so. We work in fixed-price milestones instead: you define the work, I give you a timescale and one price, and that's what you pay. If a job turns out bigger than we both thought, that's on me to flag before any work happens, never to quietly add to the bill.
What if I want changes later?
Getting the agreed work right is included; it isn't finished until it does what we said it would. When you want to go further, new improvements and changes are simply the next milestone: you tell me what you'd like, I price it, and you decide. Every piece of work stays clearly bounded, so you never end up staring at a vague running total.
What about keeping it working?
The tools around your setup keep changing, and every so often one of those changes will need attention on your side. Keeping things running as that happens is what the optional monthly plan is for, or it's simply the next small milestone. A fixed price covers the work we agreed, not a lifetime of chasing other people's updates.
Third-party costs, and who bills them
Some builds carry small running costs from other companies: AI usage billed on demand (the tokens the models charge), a little server if something needs a home, an email or text service with a per-message price. Where a job needs one, it's named in the quote with an honest monthly figure before you say yes, and the account sits in your name, billed to you at cost. For most small builds that means £10 to £50 a month, and plenty run on nothing at all.
Plenty of providers resell those services with a margin tucked inside, which is why so much of this industry is oddly keen on anything with a subscription attached. I don't. There's no quiet recurring revenue here, so when I recommend something with a running cost, it's because the job needs it, not because I take a slice of it.
When does money change hands?
Half up front, half when the milestone lands. There's one exception: work that will live entirely on systems only you control is paid up front, because code can't be un-delivered. Where I set up or host the infrastructure for you, the half-and-half stands. And as we rack up milestones together, terms relax.
What happens when you book
You pick a slot and we talk for 30 minutes on a video call, nothing to install. Within a couple of days you get the one-page plan with a fixed price against each fix. The person who scopes the job is the person who builds it; there are no handoffs. There are no follow-up sales calls; if you want to go ahead, you reply, and if you don't, that's that.
